Baptisms in Cayman Brac

In the mid-week service at Watering Place a new lady who just attended for the first time one week prior surprised us by getting up to tell us that God had saved her and she wanted to live for Him. In conversation with her she told me that she was sitting in her living room looking at Tik-Tok on her phone, watching a Christian song, and God spoke to her and told her that it was time for her to confess her sins and give her heart and life to Him. She did so, and is excited about her new life in Christ. She told me that she wanted to be baptized, and so I met with her the following Saturday to explain what baptism was and wasn’t. As I shared scriptures with her she clearly witnessed once again to my wife and me of a victorious life in Jesus.

One of our teenage girls had also given her heart to Jesus recently and wanted to be baptized. I met with her as well and arranged to baptize both of the ladies. This past Sunday people from both of our churches met at the high school swimming pool for a glorious time of worship. Both ladies testified to the people gathered about what God had done for them, and then I had the privilege of baptizing them.
