Answered Prayers

We always hear that prayers can be answered as, “Yes,” “No,” or “Not right now.” We have come to know that last answer very intimately over the past year. But praise the Lord, we have a different answer now!

We have visas to enter Papua New Guinea and tickets to depart on November 10, arriving in Port Moresby on the 12th via Manila, Philippines. We were able to get our passports sent back to the PNG embassy, the visas processed, and on their way back to us within about 22 hours of calling them. For anyone following our journey recently, you know that is a miracle.

After months of waiting, we are now in the measured rush of getting everything packed over the next few weeks and fitting in all the last-minute things that come with international travel. It is exciting to finally have an actual date to work toward.

Thank you to everyone for sticking with us through all the uncertainty. We appreciate the prayers, kind words, and continued financial partnership. It is not cheap to fly 15 time zones away, and Church of God (Holiness) World Missions covers that expense for us. We would greatly appreciate it if you could give them a little extra to help with these kinds of costs.
