A Year of Continuing

Praise God with us that Christy and Jacob plan to return at the end of January! Her surgery was successful, and she is gaining strength back in her foot as she is starting to use it more. Pray that the healing would be complete soon.

Christy and Jacob got to experience snow this year! They're hoping to make it back to PNG by the end of January.

In terms of continuing work with the Solos team in Buka, there was a Vernacular Creative Phonics course planned in February for teachers that would have trained them to teach children to read in Solos, as well as preparing materials to enable that to happen. That has not worked out. Pray that the only available rescheduling slot in March/April would work. There are a number of moving pieces that need to align, but we know who holds the Key of David!

Our last segment of the Translators’ Training Course 1 still needs to happen as well, but with Christy being out of country, it has been delayed. Pray that we would be able to find the right time to hold the last two weeks of the course and get these new translators (as well as the old ones) working on Genesis. Ask for open doors!
