Back to Buka!

For the next six weeks our whole family has an opportunity to live back on Buka Island. This time we have plans to fill in as Center Managers, although Larry is really looking forward to spending time with the Solos translation team. It has been difficult to spend adequate time with them since starting his administrative job in Ukarumpa last year.

There are some real challenges in the Bougainville Region, but we’re looking forward to enjoying our time with people we know and love. Pray for the local translators, church leaders, and our regional leadership and teams.

It’s been just six and a half weeks since Larry returned from his last trip out to Western Province, where good progress was made on getting funding for a Bible storying project. This time it will be nice to travel as a family!
