A New Bike for Ghana
Download this month's issue of The Harvest Times.
Have you ever owned a vehicle that could only be described as a piece of junk? Unfortunately, that was the best descriptor for two of the motor bikes that Jere and his workers used to travel to the villages. Frequent breakdowns meant frequent mechanical work and a bike you couldn’t trust.
The Board understood the need for a new bike, and they added to some designated funds on hand to purchase a Yamaha XTZ 125. Jere wrote that it is “a very nice bike.”
At least one of those old bikes will be sold, and Jere is much better off for the trade.
Pray for Jere’s safety as he travels over 200 miles each week to visit the churches. There are many perils along the way, including very poor, rutted roads; the danger of getting lost; and even the possibility of snakes.
